our nation's glorified space tourist

1st of all, i do not give a hoot abt whut wikipedia states.

to me, our so called angkasawan are NOT, I REPEAT NOT astronauts.
the term astronauts should be reserved for ppl who dedicate their lives to the science of space, and the universe.

the malay bugger that was sent to space is a space tourist.
a glorified one, i must insist.

first of all, let us understand the term space tourism.

Space tourism is the recent phenomenon of individuals paying for space travel, primarily for personal satisfaction.
in our country's case, the only ppl that get satisfaction frm this is the ppl that do not understand a thing and of course the politicians.
if u visit xw's
blog, u will be able to understand how utterly useless the politicians
are and how their jobs can be easily filled in by a 4 yr oldmuslim child.

this is whut our great and brilliant 'angkasawan' went to space to do.
# Experiment Code Description
1 Cells in Space CIS Study of the effects of microgravity and space radiation on eukaryotic cells focusing on changes in the structure and function at the cellular and molecular levels
2 Microbes in Space MIS
Study of the effects of microgravity on motility of bacteria, drug
resistances as well as changes in gene expression (using themicroarray approach). Expect to show some effects of bacterial growth using a pre-determined minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC).
3 Protein Crystallisation in Space PCS The purpose of this experiment is to compare the crystal growth of lipases
on Earth with that grown in microgravity. Several test conditions will
also be tested to improve the protein crystallisation process on Earth
as well as in space.
4 Malaysian Food in Space FIS Increase the
variety and quality of food available to space travelers by identifying
new food items (specifically typical Malaysian dishes) that are
appropriate for consumption during space flight.
5 Study of spinning
motions in microgravity environment TOP A physics demonstration to show
the effect of microgravity on the motions of spinning object using a
top.
6 PR and Symbolics PAS PR and Symbolics activities.

malaysian food in space. forgive me for being curious but how the fuck is this going to benefit anyone?
and i did a little research. all the little experiments that were conducted by our angkasawan had already been conducted 20+ yrs ago. again, how is dis gonna benefit anyone?

On November 15, 2006, in a response to a question in the Dewan Rakyat, Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry parliamentary secretary Datuk Rohani
Abdul Karim (representing the Science, Technology and Innovation
Ministry) stated that the Malaysian astronaut would, "spin top and toss
BatuSeremban (five-stone game) as part of an experiment during his space travel".

ONLY IN MALAYSIA.

it is estimated, that out country used rm105million on the angkasawan project.
it might be more. think 135mil.
just so everyone knows, in out budget 2007, the government only spent 49mil on the visit malaysia thing.
i need not say anymore.

just when u thought country cudnt waste anymore time & money on this project....
Since Sheikh Muszaphar
is a Muslim, and as his time in space coincided with the last part of
Ramadan, the Islamic National Fatwa Council drew up the first
comprehensive guidebook for Muslims in space.[1][3] The 18-page
guidebook is titled "Guidelines for Performing Islamic Rites (Ibadah)
at the International Space Station", and details issues such as how to
pray in a low-gravity environment, how to locate Mecca from theISS, how to determine prayer times, and issues surrounding fasting. The orbit of the ISS
results in one day/night cycle every 90 minutes,[1][25] so the issues
of fasting during Ramadan are also addressed. The guidebook will be
translated into Russian, Arabic, and English.[7][26]Anan C. Mohd, from Malaysia's Department of Islamic Development said that fasting while traveling is optional, so Sheikh Muszaphar could choose what he would like to do, but if he did decide to fast in space, the times would be centered around local time in Baikonur, where the launch takes place.[27][28] Sheikh Muszaphar celebrated Eid ul-Fitr
aboard the station, and packed some satay and cookies to hand out to
the rest of the crew on October 13, 2007 to mark the end of Ramadan.[29]

ONLY IN MALAYSIA.

P.S did anyone realise that all the candidates for the angkasawan project are malay?

wow, two post in how many days?

hullo ppl. u mght have read that im hanging up my keyboard cable.. but im proud to announce to delay the passing of that motion.

well, ok so far life and the hols have been quite kind to me. except for the fact that i got kicked out of the house. yees.

we shall not dwell upon that subject it brings memories that i would indeed like to forget.

actually, besides that, i hav climbed 3 hills, gone for a thrilling jeeep ride and a brilliant waterfall experience.

be envious.
u were put here to be jealous of me.
and of course, u are my heart and soul, ur my blablabla, sob.. sob.. sob.. heart heart heart. wtv
point is..
whuts my point? -.-

anyway, abt the waterfall experience, it was raining and the water was freezing, me, my mum and my sis decided to swim in the freezing waterfall. shit.
it was cold.
ok, u might think im gonna say tht since im a macho fella and i have one of the most physically fit bodies. which btw, im not denying anyway, but im not gonna deny that i was shaking so much i cudnt speak.
BUT . sitting under the watrfall is one of the best experiences ever. i felt so.. alive. with the watr beating against u,u barely can see. ur only focused on now. there is no past or future for u to be concerned abt. and to be frank, nth goes thru ur mind when ur mind is set on 'now' mode.
brilliant.

but word of advise.
dun wear a shirt when ur swimming.

its a safety precaution.
u wan everyone to see your body.
then everyone will be focused on u and if u drown. at least the girls will die trying to save u.
logical?

anyway,
happy bday to fat-alas and mark will.i.am.stickman

grip hold of that plastic item u call a mouse.
put ur finger, which one? ur to you. just make sure u didnt dig ur nose with it. yes, put it on that scroll button.
get ready to navigate ur way down this jungle of words.
get ready to move ur finger muscles so much, they'll hurt.
be prepared.
u have engaged in a journey that may effect u mentally, and if there may be porn, physically too.
dont click that 'back' button.
u cant.
i've programmed this blog so that u cant exit or shut down.
u have reached.. the point of no return.

gaddamit i wish i programme the stupid blog to do so. but onli geeks can do dat. so im not and i cant.

well to be true with u, i might have over exaggerated on the ride of ur life crap. but who cares. u have been lied to ur whole entire life so u'll probably get over it.

u've probably read xian wei's blog abt his anti-malay rants. u've probably just skipped through most parts. i dont blame u. i know i did. =)

anyway, i've lost interest in blogging. expect me to hang up my keyboard cable. life's too dry. my post-exam life is so dry and dull it makes a grandmother's life look like hugh hefner's. besides, im too ball-less to rant abt other ppl. wut happened to SCREW THE INNOCENT???

anywway, when the world is far more opened minded and when the freedom of speech and no consequences returns, tell me. till then.

guess who?
IM A NIGGGAAAAAAAAA...!!!

sincerly, TjChuen. geez its been so long since i used that name.

i guess tjchuen kinda died after friendster died. no big. friendster made me feel like a loser anyway. 90 friends. not good for my self esteem is it?

im back.

to my loyal and dedicated readers and to my hateful little bitches out there, i sincerly apologise for not keeping in touch with the "blogsphere" for more than 2 months.

allow me start my Post with a freestyle i came up a sec ago. please sing it to the tune of jingle bells

"blogging's fun, blogging's fun,
i dont really mean it
its a drag, its a drag
and typing is real boring
i hate typing, i hate typing
i know u hate it too
but wat the hell
i've got lots to say
so lets get down to blogging"
HO HO HO. MERRY READING!

"ffff..."

lets get down to bloggin. firstly, i shall write this whole post in chapters so u can just read it in one go and i dun have to go on this shit comp so many times.

=)

CHAPTER ONE

this shud have been posted about three months ago.

i lo-o-o-o-ve how girls love cute things.
sickening.

this is a cute cat

snap back to reality my poor little girls

sigh yes very sad. i think i can see its brain sticking oout of its mouth. pity. if it died a few hours earlier, we might have seen its last meal. BUMMER.

CHAPTER TWO

the concert

overall. all i can say is- I HATE BEING IN DA BACK ROW.

u know exactly wat i mean.

oh, one more thing. this years "JOKERS" for the concert are jokes themselves.

again, u know exactly wut i mean. shall i rollover?

spare them. they have nv been exposed to k gang.

CHAPTER 3

NEGARAKU

im sure u have heard. some clown did a freestyle on our national anthem.
lots of legal problems after that.
he apologised.
he is onli 24.
goverment rejects apology.
wants to strip him off his citizenship.
he's chinese.

i shant say anyth.
u kno why
i think i wud like to stay in this place where all races live in harmony.

just a random fact to my multi racial readers. DID U KNOW (in annoying rudy and jj voice)
ketuanan melayu literally means "malay dominance"?
NOW... U KNOW

i am NOT implying anyth here.

DID U KNOW.. before 1957, the chinese contributed abt 160% to the economy in malaysia while the malays contributed by 70% and the indians, 80%.
NOW U KNOW

this was taken frm an article in the Dewan Siswa written by MOHD HAFEZ HARUN

this is just a random bit of news

the malay race was involved in pertanian dan perikanan, the chinese perlombongan, perdagangan dan kewangan, and the indians, perdagangan getah.

bijih timah and getah was Malaysia's Main exports.

the states kedah, kelantan, terrengganu and perlis are mainly homes to the malay race. its land is rich and it has been exploited by the malays wisely. (pertanian)

coincidentaly the percentage of pertanian has gone down frm 50% in 1960 to 5% in 2006.

i do not mean a thing.

extraction: "in 1987, as the UMNO leaders orchestrated racial tension over the transferring of non-qualified adminstrators to chinese pimary schools, UMNO youth organized a rally at the sultan sulaiman stadium in kuala lumpur at which racist and seditious slogans were carried in banners which read: "MAY 13 HAS BEGUN", "SOAK THE KERIS IN CHINESE BLOOD." UMNO leaders were on stage to fan the flames of communalism included the UMNO youth chief and present Deputy Prime Minister." ------------this book was purchased in malaysia. which means it has been authorised by the goverment.

one thing i wud like to know is why, does our sejarah textbook CLEARLY state that "ketuanan melayu" is THE most important point in signing any agreement? why do they not feel tht it is quite obvious that not onli the malay ppl, go to skool and that all races read and study frm the same book and learn the same facts? that we understand that the malay race is reaping the benefits of this "special position of the malays"?

just a random question btw.

CHAPTER 4

PMR TRIALS

my mind went blank. i read the question more than 5 times. nothing went in. my heart was racing. my hands turned numb and once again my calculator gave me a different answer. could it be that one this crucial day, technology would play a part in the downfall of men? 2 minutes flew past and i had to do it. TEMBAK!!!!

yea, that pretty much sums up my very horrible maths paper.

CHAPTER 5

CANCER

in july, my cousin was diagnosed with brain tumour. she lost her sense of smell and one eye was blinded. they operated on her. and two weeks ago, they found out she had cancer. i do not expect simpathy from anyone. she is a strong soul. she has not shed a tear ever since they found out she had a brain tumour. all i hope for is that all the readers that read this will include her in your prayers. i know i may not be a huge fan of religion but in times like these, a little faith goes a long way. so please, pray for her.
thanks.

CHAPTER 6

on a lighter note,

HAPPY BDAY RYAN TERRANCE PERREIRA!!

CHAPTER 7

ENVIROMENT DAY

please, readers i hope u will not skip through anyth that is written here.

we had enviromental day in our skool and i pledged to educated the UN-educatedon the enviroment. so all i can say is this...

please, unless u are an emo-fied idiot dat listens to simple plan's "welcome to my life" everyday, i am sure u appreciate life.

therefore te ONLY way to preserve life is to save what we live on-------> earth.

DID YOU KNOW, that most of the power we use now is actually the burning of fossil fuels?

tell me, what is the product of burning fossil fuel?

there u have it.

sure u can say, we have other forms of energy eg. solar, hydro, geothermal and more.. but u must remember, these forms of energy are not cheap to mantain.

1st world countries -> 20++ countries
2nd world countries -> 25++
AMOUNT OF COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD -> 160++

u can do the maths.

and so i ask u, DO u think that these less developed countries are able to use these alternate sources of energy??

please, if we, the people of this well-to-do country are unable to save energy and play our role in saving our world, what makes u think these 3rd world countries will?

PLEASE. we may not be people wih power, but what we have the power to do is to SWITCH OFF OUR LIGHTS, SWITCHES, WHEN WE DO NOT USE THEM. THUS SAVING ENERGY. thank you.

CHAPTER 8

yesterday, as i went to my dad's office by train, i realised just how... how.. ASSHOLE-ISH our ppl are.

i saw a man with this baggage that was literally blocking the way of a passengers that were trying to make her way through. c'mon lah. ur already in the fucking front of the qeue. who da fuck is gonna stop u frm getting into the train? its not the fuckin end of the world is it?

besides that, when the train was full of sweaty, smelly ppl, i saw this bunch of STUPID bunch of short malay girls literally shove themselves in. may they one day be shoved against the flippin wall by a herd of wildebeast.

and i noticed just how sad ppl can be.

i saw this girl, she's chinese. she acted like someone was calling her.....
said hello
and started SINGING TO THE SONG SHE WAS PLAYING ON THE EXACT SAME PHONE.
and when the song finished...
she said bye-bye.
acted like nothing happened.
obviously unaware that the whole train was looking at her sad ass..
and then..
she made her phone ring again with the vibration and she did it again this time... LOUDER.

wow. i was trying my hardest not to burst out laughing.

CHAPTER 9

unlike xian wei, i DO feel that i love this sad country we call malaysia. sure it hasnt done shit for me. but when does ur country do anyth for u? i know our politics are biased but at least they dont promote terrorism,

besides, if u arent willing to call this country home, whereelse are u wiling to call home?

and if u tell me england or some other country, what makes u think that u'll stay loyal to that country when u have already abandoned one country?

you see folks, the grass is always greener on the other side.

i love my country, but i will onli show it when malaysia play badminton.

dont expect me to wave the jalur gemilang tho.

i think this is quite the ending to my lil post. i've become more softspoken. hope u prefer this.

sincerly, TjChuen,
